Startups I helped ship

Startups are my favorite kind of chaos. Small teams, real stakes, and code that has to earn money. Here's where I've been in the trenches.

Co-Founder & Technology Manager

An AI-based digital queueing product: customers join service queues remotely by location instead of standing in line. We started as a team of two (I ran tech, my partner ran business) and grew until I was managing three teams across backend, mobile, and DevOps. We raised $125.5K from accelerators, got listed on Crunchbase, and shipped apps to both stores.

I stepped down voluntarily to reduce burn rate, one of the hardest and most deliberate calls I've made. The company went on to close a $3M seed round led by AHOY and serve 100K+ customers across healthcare, banking, and government, cutting wait times from 116 minutes to 14.

Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

A B2B e-commerce platform connecting brands to small groceries across Egypt, later acquired by MNT-Halan. I joined early and started the platform revamp from scratch: preparing the monolith for a microservices split with clear DDD bounded contexts, and building the main modules after learning each domain face to face from the business side. Purchasing, pricing, inventory, and profitability calculations all went through my keyboard, and I became the team's reference for how the profitability logic actually worked.

A freelancing marketplace for the MENA region. I joined during their first rebranding and owned key components: contracts, reviews, candidate matching, payments, and refund policies. The parts of a marketplace where bugs cost real money.
